I have always enjoyed reading. Printed words have enabled me to appreciate life from the perspective of others as seen through their eyes. That’s why creative writing was a natural progression for me. My professional career began as an English teacher where I spent countless hours with my students working on sentence structure and diagrams until I got to the part I truly loved . . . creative writing.
My style is simple and uncomplicated, and my approach usually incorporates humorous and satirical views of life.
I have two goals I try to accomplish with each story I write. Number one is to make you smile. That’s always on the agenda. And the second is to have you remark to yourself after reading something I wrote and say, “I never knew that.”
